Innovation at the service of diagnostics
Beyond conventional PCR tests, Afyia Diagnostics has built expertise in multiplex PCR using melting-curve techniques based on technologies patented by Afyia Diagnostics, combined with the use of DISOFT (link). These innovations enable the simultaneous detection of dozens of targets within a single test, on so-called “open” thermocyclers, offering considerable gains in speed, efficiency and cost, while guaranteeing a high level of sensitivity and specificity.
Integrated skills in immunology
AFYIA Diagnostics, through its sister company Innovative Diagnostics, also has expertise in the development, evaluation and production of membrane immunochromatography tests (Lateral Flow Assay, LFA), as well as in capturing microorganisms in complex samples such as stool or sputum.
